The table below is given by the speaker as a guide to how much to eat. One serving of bread, rice or cereal means 2 slices of bread, 1/2 bowl rice and 3/4 bowl cereal or 3 medium crackers. One serving of protein means a palm size. One serving of dairy meains 1 cup of milk or yogurt. One serving of veg is about 1/2 cup of leafy veg or 3/4 cup of non-leafy veg.
